Ingredients
  • 3 cups (300 gr.) of very fine semolina flour
  • 2 cups (200 gr.) of all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups (250 gr.) of sugar
  • 1 ½ cup of almond or regular milk (about 300 ml)
  • 1 cup (200 ml) of vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon of turmeric
  • 2 ½ teaspoons of baking powder
  • 3-4 tablespoons of pine nuts
  • 2 tablespoons of tahini
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 180 °, brush the bottom and the sides of a cake pan with tahini, and put it on the side;
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, semolina, oil, turmeric, sugar and then add the milk;
  3. Mix until you obtain a smooth paste;
  4. Pour the mixing into the mold;
  5. Tap the pan on the kitchen table to unify the surface of the cake;
  6. Sprinkle with pine nuts and bake the sfouf for about 25 minutes.
